Dr. Jesse Tippett is a Board Certified Family Physician. He received his education and degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and did his residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Tippett also completed a fellowship earning a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He has served as team physician at USF, Eckerd College, and St. Petersburg College as well as J.W. Mitchel High School in Trinity, FL.
Dr. Tippett treats patients ages ten and up for primary care concerns from common colds to management of diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol. He specializes in sports medicine for sports related or other musculoskeletal injuries such as casting and splinting or sprains and strains. He also offers a special on sports physicals for $25.
Juliay Tippett L.C.S.W. is a mental health counselor who specializes in anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and behavioral issues. She works with children (starting from 5 years old), adolescents and adults. She seeks to offer a safe and supportive environment that will extend acceptance, trust, and understanding to those who are hurting. Juliay is now offering telephone and email therapy for those who meet criteria after an initial face to face assessement. This is to help meet the needs of those with busy schedules.
Juliay's previous work experience over the past 15 years includes intensive in-home therapy, residential treatment for emotionally disturbed youth, sexual assault therapy for sexually abused children, Christian counseling for couples, individuals, and families as well as supportive therapy to the elderly in assisted living and independent living facilities. Juliay's experience has given her the skills necessary to handle both a variety of ages and issues.
